Voters are willing to make sacrifices for climate change, and they endorse costly climate policies. Voters support green investments even when the investments are funded via carbon taxes. A carbon tax plus a Climate Premium is another promising policy. The Climate Premium is an upfront transfer to all households. Both the public and experts are too pessimistic about voters' support for climate policies. Effective communication of the climate policy details is keyGrowing discrepancy between output from national accounts and industrial production in German manufacturing. Share in non-industrial activities of industrial enterprises is increasing. Industrial products are becoming more hybrid as more goods are bundled with product-related services. Production processes in German manufacturing are also becoming more hybrid. Manufacturing firms outsource goods production and concentrate domestic activities on product development and commercialization.
