Abstract (Translated):
This paper delves into the international integration of labour-intensive manufactures from two different standpoints. Firstly, by analysing the factors which explain these sector's exports over the past years, especially identifying those related to demand and to Argentine exporters' capabilities to compete abroad. Secondly, by estimating potential trade flow changes arising from the different trade liberalization scenarios, which take into account the elimination of tariffs with our main trade partners as well as at the multilateral level.
