Abstract (Translated):
The objective of this study is to analyze the practice of incubating solidarity economy enterprises as a vector of university extension in Brazil. To this end, a bibliographic and bibliometric research was carried out on dissertations and theses defended in Brazilian higher education institutions that addressed this type of activity in Technological Incubators of Popular Cooperatives (ITCPs), between the years 2001 and 2021. It was possible to identify 73 academic publications (16 theses and 57 dissertations), prepared in postgraduate programs in different areas of knowledge in Brazil. The identified publications were classified into eight analytical categories, according to their respective focuses of analysis. It is concluded that the practice of incubating popular cooperatives has become a relevant research topic, which indicates a very interconnected relationship between teaching, research and extension in higher education units in Brazil.
