The econometric results suggest that i) women are happier than men; ii) income is positively (and statistically significant) correlated with male`s happiness, but it is statistically insignificant to explain female`s happiness; iii) religious is important to explain female`s happiness (but insignificant for male`s); and iv) envy people are less happy than non-envy individuals.
