Abstract (Translated):
This report describes how Finland succeeds in international comparisons of investments into and outcomes from education. OECD publications (Education at a Glance, PISA, IALS) are the main sources of this report. All levels of the education system, from pre-primary education to the second stage of tertiary education, are being examined. The educational attainment of the Finnish adult population, its participation in further education and training, as well as labour force participation and unemployment rates are examined in comparison with other OECD countries by level of educational attainment.
