Zusammenfassung:
The success of the Third Mission of Universities (3MU) depends on the ability of the Universities to adapt to the new digital reality and incorporate the tools that facilitate both knowledge management and its subsequent transfer. The new technologies provide a wide range of possibilities, facilitating both the location of customers, and the distribution of products, the contact networking promotion, interviewing, positioning, etc. This document, besides reviewing briefly some of the concepts related to the 3MU, examines how Web 2.0 and today's digital tools can support and strengthen this work.
