Abstract:
In this paper we asses the current state of research on Lean Production and Supply Chain Management in the aeronautic industry, with two basic aims: 1) identify all lines of research developed, providing a classification criterion of literature, 2) discuss the empirical evidence and try to provide guidance for future research. To achieve these objectives, it has employed a research methodology involving the identification and review of the literature. The subsequent systematic analysis of literature has been qualitative. This analysis has identified three lines of research on Lean Production and three on Supply Chain Management. Finally, we identify new opportunities and challenges facing future research.
