Zusammenfassung:
They are very few studies that combine family business and internationalisation theory. For this reason, the aim of this paper is to study these topics trying to answer the following question: Is the family character a factor that affects firm's commitment in foreign markets? From a sample of 140 Spanish companies, we find that the impact of family character on firm's commitment is not statistically significant and it only increases the positive influence of firm's size.
