Abstract (Translated):
Despite extensive planning, successful strategy implementation remains one of the biggest challenges for organizations worldwide, a phenomenon known as the implementation gap. This thesis systematically analyses the causes of this discrepancy between strategy formulation and realization, ranging from insufficient communication and inadequate resource allocation to organizational resistance to change. Based on a comprehensive literature review of established theories and methods from the fields of Strategic Management, Organizational Development, and Change Management, key success factors for strategy implementation are identified. The core of this work is the development of the "Adaptive Alignment & Execution" (AAX) Framework. This integrative framework combines proven principles and tools to enable a holistic and dynamic approach to strategy implementation. It addresses the need for strategic clarity, dynamic alignment, agile execution, and continuous learning. The framework is supplemented by a practical checklist designed to help organizations proactively address the identified causes of the implementation gap and promote the successful implementation of their strategies.
