Abstract:
In the wake of the global pandemic and amidst rapidly advancing technologies, the domains of tourism, travel, and trade have undergone significant changes. This article overviews some of the most noteworthy research and findings in these interconnected areas since 2020. We provide an evaluation of the post-pandemic evolution of these sectors by examining key trends, challenges, and opportunities that have emerged since the Covid-19 pandemic. Our discussion encompasses five key themes on how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the changing landscape in tourism, travel, and trade. Against this backdrop, we introduce the articles included in this special issue.
