Abstract: 
Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) stands at a critical juncture as it faces a set of interrelated socio-ecological crises: extreme vulnerability to climate crisis, rising levels of violent crime, and deeply rooted social inequality and exclusion fuelled by inequalities and injustices in the world of work and a patchy social protection and welfare. The root causes of this multiple crisis lie in a model of economic growth highly dependent on fossil fuels, particularly oil and natural gas, prioritizing short-term stability over longterm transformation.
