Abstract:
The EU countries, the United Kingdom (UK), and China are characterised by a high level of regulation of digital markets. In recent years, the EU and the UK have significantly tightened their regulations. The less dynamic data market in the EU and the UK compared to major players in the global economy suggests that more regulation hampers digital innovation.
