Abstract (Translated):
Agricultural Markets at the Turn of 2001/2002: (6) Egg an Poultry MarketsWorld egg and poultry supplies keep on growing. Based upon highly specialized breeds, industry-like production methods and facilities this branch of agriculture has over the years experienced high rates of technical advance. In the more affluent societies however, consumer preferences for more naturally produced food begin to affect big industries, international trade and world trade policy (WTO) while the low-income countries are more concerned about increasing production and improving human welfare.
