Abstract:
This issue of Intervention. European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies is mainly devoted to the life and work of Geoffrey C. Harcourt, one of the main contributors and also the biographer of Cambridge post-Keynesian economics, who went back from Cambridge, UK, to Australia in summer 2010. The Forum section starts with an interview with Harcourt. The Article section contains a special issue on ›The political economy of an Australian Patriot and Cambridge Economist‹ edited by Philip Arestis with six papers on the work and the life of G.C. Harcourt, one of the papers contributed by the honoree himself. And finally the Book Reviews section includes a review of Harcourt's latest co-authored book (with Prue Kerr) on Joan Robinson.
