Abstract:
Abstract (Translated):
The increasing automation and interconnection of vehicles potentially shows profound impacts on motor insurance. Besides the question of liability for traffic accidents, a changing risk landscape as well as possible shifts in the customer interface through service-based mobility concepts also play a central strategic role. In addition, the increasing interconnection of vehicles is fostering the competition for the access to relevant in-vehicle data. At the 14th FaRis & DAV Symposium, the speakers discussed these issues and their impact on the business model of motor insurance in order to base a discussion about challenges and possible solutions on this ground.
