Title: Investment intentions and financial decisions of women investors: A bibliometric analysis for future research
Authors: Dash, Pratichi; Mishra, Susanta Kumar
Abstract: Purpose: Making investment decisions has become more difficult for women investors in recent decades due to the prevalence of irrational behaviour. This research aims to use bibliometric analysis to fill a gap in the current literature on women's investing aspirations. This analysis will offer a thorough overview and suggest potential areas for further research. Design/methodology/approach: This study conducted a search on the Web of Science databases to identify 29 publications published between 2013 and 2023. Afterwards, this study used the PRISMA method to evaluate these articles for systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The VOS viewer software was utilized for conducting biblio-metric analysis. Findings: The outcomes of this study shows that women's financial literacy, risk behavior, and financial planning are all correlated with the decisions they make with their own money. Various elements, including demographics, society, and psychology, influence female investor's intention to invest. Research limitations/implications: To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the findings, data for bibliometric analysis was extracted exclusively from a single database, namely Web of Science. Subsequent investigations have the potential to expand the systematic literature review by incorporating various databases containing diverse soft-ware applications, as well as distinct theories and methodologies for future research. Originality/value: This study assesses the existing literature and enhance the conceptual and social framework sur-rounding the investment intention and financial decision-making of women investors. The findings offer valuable insights for firms, financial institutions, and policy makers to a thorough comprehension on the intentions of women investors. This may help enhancing the financial sector and economy, both in theory and in practice.

The effect of Bank Clerks' human service quality on customer satisfaction: The mediating role of rapport

Title: The effect of Bank Clerks' human service quality on customer satisfaction: The mediating role of rapport
Authors: Moon, Ji-Hwan; Kim, Bo-kyeong; Yang, Jae-Ho
Abstract: Purpose: This study aims to investigate the impact of bank clerks' human service quality(HSQ) on customer sat-isfaction (CS), as well as the effect of rapport established between the service provider and the customer on satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach: This study conducted quantitative approach with a survey over five days (from April 7 to 11, 2023) by Macromill Embrain, a professional survey agency, among consumers who had recently visited a bank and had experience using face-to-face services. Findings: The three sub-factors of HSQ, namely professionalism, reliability, and interactivity, had a significant positive impact on the formation of rapport with customers. The sub-factors of rapport, namely enjoyable interaction (EI) and personal connection (PC), were also affected by HSQ. The rapport formed in this way had a significant positive effect on CS. Therefore, the quality of human service provided by bank clerks plays a crucial role in building rapport and ultimately leads to CS. Research limitations/implications: In the financial industry, building rapport between service providers and cus-tomers has a positive effect on trust. With the rise of internet-only banks, it is crucial to establish a rapport with customers to provide differentiated services that cannot be offered by internet-only banks due to their limited avail-ability and business hours. This will also help prevent customers from switching to internet-only banks. Originality/value: This study recognizes that although there are many online-only banks, there is still a customer base that favors traditional banks. The paper aims to explore, from both theoretical and practical perspectives, whether meeting the needs of these customers and providing human service quality and rapport in competition with online banks can address the fundamental issue of customer satisfaction. Therefore, this study seeks to empha-size the importance of HSQ in driving CS, explore the most efficient and effective ways for banks to manage this quality for the continuous acquisition of loyal new and existing customers.

Bridging the gap: Understanding the link between HR practices and innovative behavior

Title: Bridging the gap: Understanding the link between HR practices and innovative behavior
Authors: Kismono, Gugup; Danarilia, Vania Olivine; Ardianto, Heni
Abstract: Purpose: This study aims to examine the partial and sequential mediating effects of work engagement (WE) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on the relationship between human resources management practices(HRMP) and innovative work behavior (IWB) to find an integrative relationship mechanism. Design/methodology/approach: This study used a cross-sectional data collection technique to obtain a usable sample of 324 employees in Indonesia who work in the banking sector. The least squares structural equation modeling was applied to the data analysis in this study. Findings: The study's findings suggest that HRMP does not directly influence IWB. However, WE and OCB mediate partially or sequentially in the relationship between HRMP and IWB. These mediating mechanisms shed light on the psychological processes of employees, emphasizing the significance of innovative behavior in the workplace. Research limitations/implications: This research implies the importance of paying attention to the role of WE and OCB in designing and implementing HRMP to increase IWB. These results also highlight the importance of a holistic approach to creating meaning in the workplace that can encourage innovative behavior. Originality/value: This research offers a deeper understanding of the complex relationships between HRMP, WE, OCB, and IWB. These findings explore possible mediating mechanisms previously discovered in the literature and offer new insights for future research in this area.

Title: Impacts of ESG performance on the profitability of ASEAN-6 commercial banks in the context of digital transformation
Authors: Ngan Bich Nguyen
Abstract: Purpose: This study's primary goal is to examine the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and profitability in ASEAN-6 commercial banks amid digital transformation. Design/methodology/approach: To reach this purpose, the paper uses linear regressions to explore the three re-search questions: "What are impacts of ESG performance on banks' profitability?", "What are impacts of digital transformation on bank's ESG performance?", "How is moderate effect of digital transformation to impacts of ESG performance on banks' profitability?". The paper employs data available for 39 ASEAN-6 banks in 2023. Findings: The main findings are: (i) enhancing ESG performance is likely to boost the bank's profitability; (ii) while banks can bolster their ESG metrics through increased spending on digital transformation, there's a risk that excessive investment in this area could negatively impact Return on Assets (ROA); (iii) the beneficial influence of ESG on ROA tends to decrease as the investment in digital transformation grows. Research limitations/implications: The findings offer insightful viewpoints for bank managers and policymakers regarding the significance of ESG and digital transformation in influencing banking profitability Originality/value: The study contributes to the current literature in emphasize the role of sustainable development in improving bank's performance, especially in the context of digital transformation.
