Abstract:
Literature about cooperative agreement shows us the importance of some factors in the success of the cooperative agreements. We will focus on the study of two variables with high social component, such as trust and commitment. Our objective is to evaluate if there are significant differences in both variables between the different reasons that motive companies to cooperate. If these significant differences appear there will be important managerial implications because managers would have more information in the decision making process because they would be identifying some reasons with higher level of those success key factors. Moreover, we carry out the empirical study in Spanish agro-alimentary industry because we consider that there are a few studies about cooperative agreement in mature sector with low technological component.
