Abstract:
Abstract (Translated):
Playing and experimenting have much in common. We can learn by doing either. In games as in experiments specific constellations or situations are produced, and we observe how the object of our interest behaves. Play and experiment shall be brought closer together. It is demonstrated how and on what account games have or could have an independent position in experimental psychological or sociological research. In particular, questions are addressed which relate to the interaction and communication among individuals. For illustration, the author presents two examples from his own research.
