Zusammenfassung (übersetzt):
Radically changed global conditions are forcing a "Great Transformation" of the economy and society. Predominantly, this isunderstood as a modernisation process associated with massive investments and a surge in (green) growth. However, the likelihood ofsuch a scenario is fading and it seems necessary to invest more research activity and more political attention in alternative scenarios. The resilience of the economic and social order will depend on whether it is possible to establish a prosperity perspective that is inde-pendent of growth. With "Renewing Prosperity," the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action has presentedsome building blocks that can be part of a strategic reorientation.
