Abstract (Translated):
In the course of the so-called requirements plan review, a fundamental discussion is taking place about the priorities in federal trans-port infrastructure planning. Numerous interest groups are calling for a sole focus on climate protection and environmental goals. This paperargues that such a miopic orientation of transport infrastructure planning will lead to productivity and growth losses. The key lever of climatepolicy, rather, is decarbonization of transport activities.
